Negroni

Considered an aperitif, the Negroni is rapidly becoming an “any time of day” cocktail. The Negroni consists of equal parts gin, sweet vermouth, and Campari. Try it as an alternative to juice-based brunch cocktails. When making this at home, choose your gin wisely—make sure it will hold up to the bold, bitter flavor of the Campari.

Glass: rocks

Serves 1

Ingredients

• 1 ounce gin

• 1 ounce Campari

• 1 ounce sweet (red) vermouth

• Orange wheel, for garnish

Directions 

1. Fill glass the with ice and add the gin, Campari, and vermouth.

2. Stir well and garnish with the orange wheel.
